Filming begins for ‘Remembering Empire’

This week, the team began filming for a free, online course on 'Remembering Empire' which will launch in September this year.

Led by Dr Fiona Barclay and Dr Beatrice Ivey, the 5 week course will explore the case study of the French settlers of Algeria. By the end of the course, we will have examined some of the ways that the memory of empire continues to shape our world today.
